Projection
Types of Projection
Image Magnification (IMAG)
IMAG is used in conjunction with a camera(s) so that a room full of people can view
on a screen what they may not be able to see otherwise. For instance, in a room of
1,000 or more people, a 10.5' x 14' screen will allow attendees in the back row to
see clearly what those in the front row see clearly. Projectors are industrial grade
and screens are usually ground supported or flown (hung) Fastfold screens.
Data Projection
Data projection is appropriate for medium sized meetings or events (50-250 ppl) for
magnification of things like videos, slide shows, or Power point presentations.
Generally, a small table top projector is used and a laptop or DVD player is
connected to provide the source material. Projection surfaces can be tripod screens
or Fastfold screens.
Plasma Televisions and Plasma Walls
Have a meeting with only 20 people? A 42", 50", or 60" plasma display may look
sleeker than a projector and screen. Connect your laptop and wow your clients.
Plasmas are also great for party videos, slide shows, and IMAG for areas such as
greenrooms and overflow rooms. Additionally, they may be used as confidence
monitors for speakers.
